Senior Project Manager (Egis, 2022-2024)

Providing operational support including business development (bid lead/ work winning) and recruitment and development of project teams. Acquired growing internal leadership responsibilities for the Western and Wales region.

Amey

Commissioned to Amey on the Core Valley Lines Transformation project to provide and lead the programme management interface for Welsh Water and National Grid Electricity Distribution and associated protection/ diversion/ new connection programmes under NEC ECC Option E.

  • Led the integration of multiple programmes and DNO schedules.

  • Programme management for 40+ new electrical connections, meter installations and sewer/ water main diversions/ surveys, including design and legals (wayleaves).

Senior Project Manager (T&T, 2018-2022)

Commission manager responsible for commercial and contractual obligations. Appointed NEC PSC Consultant for several EA commissions.

  • Mentored and upskilled junior members on NEC contracts

  • Programme data captured to support growth and reporting on the EA account.

  • Maximised utilisation and secured additional services within commission.

  • Tender and bid support where necessary.

Environment Agency: Named ECC Project Manager, ECSC Clients Delegate and M/F1 Engineer to deliver programmes of asset recovery and reconditioning works in the Kent and South London areas, consisting of 40+ projects and 15+ contracts.

  • £9m+ programme of asset recovery and reconditioning works.

  • Embankment and MEICA flood defences.

Welsh Water: Project Manager with Capital Delivery to deliver wastewater programmes under ECC and PSC contracts. Controlled full project lifecycle and project governance. Associated with alliance partners, asset managers, and project teams and led negotiations with local authorities and customers. Provided an advisory role to SMART ATC to verify, create and implement a new governance framework, processes and project and programme strategies.

  • £100m programme of flooding hydraulic overload.

  • Implemented change control processes.

  • Created and implemented a framework of project methodologies and strategies.

  • Improved H&S documentation and rolled out to the wider business.

 

Project Manager (Network Rail, 2015-2018)

Delivered the open route Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) programme. Led readiness reviews, working collaboratively with contractors, blockade integration and contractor interfaces. Owned the integrated programme and directed and maintained the Master Control Schedule for the Greater West Programme, Wales. Provided remaining scope deliverables for regional reporting and re-planning purposes.

  • Interface lead for the High Output Plant System, estates, local authorities and third parties.

  • Improved data accessibility, winning the Construction Excellent Award, Wales.

 Assistant Project Manager (EM Highways 2014-2015)

Delivered technical outputs for major improvement and third-party schemes. Maintained resourced and cost-loaded programmes. Co-ordinated sub-contractors, designers, engineers, and wider project teams for investigatory and feasibility purposes.
