Senior Specialist Advisor

I have over 20 years’ experience working in environment, climate resilience/adaptation and sustainability, water, energy and natural resource management, in both the private and public sectors with a proven track record in project/programme management, driving cultural change, influencing policy and regulation development at the central Government and EU level. I possess excellent communication skills which I use to great effect, having led culture change across sectors, embracing the many environmental and commercial challenges and opportunities this brings.

My roles have involved directing and chairing policy, regulatory, technical and leadership panels across water, energy and environmental fields, focussing in areas of ‘Environment leadership’, ‘Minerals Planning’, ‘Seismic and Subsurface Risk, ‘Integrated Water Management’, ‘Waste Strategy’, ‘Security’ and ‘Health and Safety Leadership’. I have also engaged in groups and networks such as the Defra/EA R&D Policy, Strategy and Investment Technical Advisory Group and the CIWEM Rivers and Coastal Group Committee and Energy networks.

I have been successful in driving improved environmental performance, better governance, sustainability commitments and commercial opportunities for business and their supply chains.
